Dr. Jarod Mau
Owner + Chiropractor
Dr. Jarod was born and raised in a small town in South Dakota. In smaller towns, your community is really an extension of your family. Dr. Jarod's community was very active in hometown athletics and this is where he developed a deep love and appreciation for sports. Dr. Jarod participated in various sports through his childhood: baseball, basketball, soccer, track and field, and golf! His passion for sports carried into his collegiate career and he continued playing golf at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa!
His passion for sports spilled over into his academic career as he knew he wanted to help athletes and deepen his understanding for how the body functions. Dr. Jarod graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and Human Performance in 2018 and started chiropractic school that same year. During his time at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Jarod spent a lot of time sharpening his adjusting technique, deepening his knowledge of the human body, and diving deeper into the philosophy of what makes chiropractic such a beautiful profession.
Dr. Jarod graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February of 2022 and opened his private chiropractic practice in Holmen, WI that same year! At Deep Roots Chiropractic, it's his vision to build a healthier, happier community one spine at a time!
Jenna B.
Chiropractic Assistant/Social Media Coordinator
Jenna was born and raised in central Wisconsin and moved to the La Crosse area about 5 years ago. Since she was in about the 5th grade, she has been in love with staying active. Jenna played volleyball during grade school and all throughout high school. Along with that, she has stayed active in the weight room and pursued weightlifting! She graduated from high school in 2022, but she has continued to stay active outside of high school sports.
Jenna is going to school to pursue a major in Radiography in 2024. She is currently living at home with her family to save some money, and she is actively enrolled in La Crosse at Western Technical College. There is quite a long waitlist for her program, so she has been working hard in her jobs and a few general education classes while she waits!
Before joining the Deep Roots Chiropractic team, Jenna had been a practice member for about a year! She has always had a deep passion for taking care of her body, so chiropractic care fit in perfectly with what she wanted! While under care, Jenna developed a close relationship with the staff and fell in love with the environment that was created in the office so when the opportunity to join the team came up, she couldn't pass it up!
Not only does Jenna care about taking care of herself, but she loves taking care of and helping others! She loves being surrounded by members of her community and making them feel like they are part of something larger than themselves! After being under regular chiropractic care, Jenna has been able to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of others being under regular care as well!
